Bold Subway Tile Bathroom Remodel

Lakefront property in Lake Anne Reston, VA needed a major bathroom overhaul for our newlywed clients. With a size, layout, and style upgrade, we were inspired by the surrounding nature and modern aesthetic of our clients.

We created a unique tile layout as the standout design element in this project. To keep the design clean and modern we started with a classic 3”x6” subway tile on the shower walls. In selecting an oatmeal and emerald green color palette, we were able to bring this simple tile to life. To honor the style and location of their lakefront property, we took inspiration from the surrounding nature and transitioned the warmth into their home by using a wood-look tile on the main bathroom floor.
