Easy-Care Elegance Bathroom Remodel
This client’s master and hall bathrooms in their traditionally styled home were in need of makeovers - both functionally and stylistically. They wanted larger showers and double sink vanities with ample storage for both bathrooms, and a design that resonated with the traditional styling of their home while maintaining an elevated feel.
We upgraded these two bathrooms focusing on a modern family lifestyle. To create a shower masterpiece we fused the traditional styling of Italian Statuario marble with easy-to-care-for linear porcelain tile installed in a herringbone pattern.
HOMEOWNER VISION
The homeowners loved the idea of elegant marble for their master bathroom but they also wanted to avoid the maintenance.
CHALLENGES SOLVED
Increased the layout and introduced a bit of luxury
- New luxurious freestanding soaking tub placed in front of the window
- Removed the linen closet in the hall to make room for a double sink vanity and storage
