Safety first

COVID Guidelines

Take comfort in how we’re keeping you—and your home—safe during these unprecedented times.

Home visits

All employees are to wear masks, sanitize, wash hands, and practice social distance during home visits.

Design studio

Masks are required for entry into our design studio, and we have plenty of disposables to hand out as needed

Client meetings

Design studio and any material samples are sanitized before and after client meetings.

Sanitation

We encourage regular hand washing and hand sanitizer before, during, and after every visit.

Appointment only

All design studio meetings are by appointment only.

Face masks

A face mask is required at all times by the Slate Team.

Employees

All employees are to use hand sanitizer and/or wash hands regularly throughout the day while on the jobsite.

Communication

Communication is to be facilitated primarily through phone, zoom, email or the CoConstruct App whenever possible.

In-person

When in-person conversations are required, or when customers are home, social distancing is to be practiced (which requires maintaining at least 6 feet of distance from crew/customers at all times).

Work area

A confined work area is to be created whenever possible. This area will be isolated by using temporary plastic barrier walls. The plastic is to be taped on all sides, as well as on the top and bottom when possible.

Covid cases

In the event that a confirmed case of Covid 19 occurs on the job, the customer will be immediately notified, and the crew will be pulled from the job and placed in a two-week quarantine.

Minimal down time

Slate will work each of our clients to ensure that minimal down time occurs if a crew switch is required.
