About the Design
The couple’s old bathroom left a lot to be desired in terms of function and form. They contacted Slate, and we were there to listen and to design the remodel they needed and wanted.
The team laid out the toilet, shower, sink, light fixtures, and mirrors to maximize the space, while also creating a beautiful lighting experience.
Placing the gorgeous subway tiles took planning. The tile layout was chosen as the standout design element for this project, and the entire tile team executed it perfectly.
By selecting an oatmeal and emerald green color palette, we brought this simple tile to life. To honor the style and location of their lakefront property, we took inspiration from the surrounding nature. By using a wood look, we transitioned that warmth into their home.
The homeowners were thrilled with the outcome. Shannon Embly, our lead designer, was recognized with an award. (See more on that below.) Most important of all, though, we were able to leave with confidence, knowing our client was more than satisfied with the quality and outcome of the remodel.
