The heart of the home is a redesigned kitchen wrapped in Metropolitan Woodworks Try slim shaker cabinetry in rift-cut white oak with a Salt Glaze finish and Sherwin Williams Oyster White paint, a Cambria Inverness Everleigh quartz island and perimeter, a full-height Inverness Everleigh quartz slab backsplash on the range wall, and paired Troy Ivins 16″ globe pendants over the island. In the family room, a Metropolitan Ashton slab media console painted Sherwin Williams Tricorn Black sits under a rift-cut white oak wall panel, anchored by a floor-to-ceiling Marmo Calcatta Gold Matte porcelain fireplace surround. In this Herndon kitchen we specified a paneled Thermador built-in refrigerator, an integrated Thermador wall microwave, and full-height cabinet runs for the Thermador double wall ovens and induction cooktop so the only exposed appliance is the Zephyr chimney range hood. That approach keeps the rift-cut white oak cabinetry reading as continuous furniture-grade millwork instead of a wall of appliances.
