The homeowners hired Slate to bring hotel-grade finish work to four bathrooms in their Great Falls home — a jewel-box powder room, a main floor bathroom with a walk-in shower, and two kids baths for daughter and son — unified by a designer-driven material story of champagne bronze plumbing, marble and marble-look tile, and quiet flat-panel vanities. Each bathroom was designed to feel bespoke on its own while still reading as part of one cohesive remodel: champagne bronze in the powder room, main floor, and daughter’s bath, with matte black taking over in son’s bath as a moody counterpoint so no two rooms feel the same. We built out a Vigo frameless glass shower door in matte gold in the main floor bathroom and daughter’s bath, laid up an MSI Carrara Marmi marble counter on daughter’s Fabuwood Onyx Painted Frost vanity with Honey Bronze pulls, set a Cambria Torquay quartz counter on son’s Medallion Silverline Walton vanity painted Eucalyptus with Flat Black pulls, and detailed Bianco River gloss-white porcelain shower walls with a grey herringbone niche in daughter’s shower and Kelly Green Tile Shop wall tile in son’s. Delta champagne bronze plumbing runs through the powder, main floor, and daughter’s rooms, while Delta matte black plumbing anchors son’s — down to the toilet lever, towel bar, and shower rod — so every detail feels intentional.

Our clients wanted their bathrooms to feel like the calm, elevated finish of a five-star hotel — champagne bronze and marble in the powder room, main floor bath, and daughter’s bath, with matte black and Eucalyptus-painted cabinetry giving son’s bath its own moodier moment — every space distinct but every space clearly part of one design story.
Challenges Solved
Four bathrooms, one material story — coordinated finish by finish, room by room.
- Coordinated a single champagne bronze Delta finish family across faucets, shower trim, towel bars, TP holders, and toilet trip levers in the powder, main floor, and daughter’s baths so nothing clashed under bathroom lighting
- Detailed the Main Floor walk-in shower with Tile Shop Mallorca Gray Ceramic walls, an MSI White Glossy Penny Round shower floor, a Tile Bar Serene White Troika Pearl mother-of-pearl niche, and a Vigo frameless matte gold door
- Balanced pattern-forward tile — chevron marble, marble-and-brass porcelain, herringbone, kelly green — against clean white or gray walls without overwhelming the smaller footprints
- Ran a full matte black plumbing counter-palette through son’s bath with Delta trim, a Moen matte black shower rod, and a matte black toilet trip lever
- Set an accent-wall material story in each bath keyed to its own vanity finish — Antique Brass, Gold, Honey Bronze, and Flat Black
- Built two open-shelf storage areas (up to 5 paint-grade shelves each) in daughter’s and son’s baths in addition to Kohler recessed medicine cabinets
- Waterproofed each shower with Schluter pans and liners before tile
